Wendy Leslie
-taught to sew by my mother who is a seamstress and grandmother who sewed my entire wardrobe on a treadle machine, I am a stretch and sew survivor! I still have the treadle machine I bought at age 12 and it still works. My first sewing machine was a toy holly hobby, I then bought my first real machine at 15. I made dresses and did alterations for my teenage friends. I have been told I have a real gift with creative fashion and home decor. I have currently worked at a fabric store, with Jessica, as an employee / home decor supervisor, taught 2 home school children to sew as a credit (not my own children), volunteer teacher assistant at school for science workshop and tag students, home room mom, business owner, Wilton cake decorator 20 years, family circle t-shirt award winner, other interest are jewelry, crochet, volunteer construction. |
