-I have been sewing for over 30 years, I receiving my first sewing machine at age 5, see about. I have a teaching and business background. I have worked as an educator, Parent Education, and corp. manager, Process and Production Analyst. I have spent the last 9 months, Sept. to May, working for a local fabric store taking in all the retail aspects of owning a shop. My decision to open the store came from family influences, My children are the center of my world, my mother, a woman like no other, and the need to be with people. I have designed the shop around what I am passionate about; friends, family,sewing and the memory of my mother. Stop by have a fresh baked cookie, a cup of coffee and a chat. Need help with a project, bring it in and let me help you lay it out in the design studio. The design part of quilting and sewing is were I seem to have a knack. |
