The Lemoyne Star made with the Rapid Fire ruler has seamless star points and no Y-seams. In the class, we will learn how to use the Rapid Fire ruler for Lemoyne Stars from three inches to twelve inches in size. We will also learn how to make Lemoyne Stars with fussy-cut star points and ones with stripes.
Fabric requirements to make the sampler displayed in the store (37” square):
Background fabric: 2 yards
Star points: 1 yard of each of two fabrics
For the fussy cut: a coordinating fabric with a design you can fussy cut
For the stripes: 1/4 yard of at least one additional coordinating color (you will need two 21-inch lengths that are 1 to 2 inches wide)
Border and background for corner stars: 7/8 yard
Backing and batting: 1 1/2 yards
Binding: 1/3 yard

Recommend: 12” twirly cutting mat in addition to a regular cutting mat
