Farmer's Wife Sampler Quilt (1920 and 1930)


Inspired by the women of the 1920's and 30's, these traditional blocks are a fun way to practice your paper piecing skills while learning a little bit of history.

Required: The Farmer's Wife Book and / or the Farmer's Wife 30's edition.  Both books are available at the Cotton Cupboard

Supplies: sewing machine, desired fabrics (scraps work well), piecing thread, scissors, rotary cutter, cutting mat, ruler, small iron, glue stick, extra bobbins, add a quarter ruler, foundation paper (either vellum or Carol Doaks)

The Cotton Cupboard will make every effort to have all required supplies available for all students prior to class, however we cannot guarantee availability the day of class.
