I have been sewing for over 30 years, I received my first sewing machine at age 5, (see About Us Link). I have a teaching and business background and have worked as a parent educator, corporate manager, process and production analyst. Prior to opening my own store I was working for a local fabric store taking in all the retail aspects of owning a shop. My decision to open the store came from family influences, my children, who are the center of my world; my mother, a woman like no other; and the need to be with people. I have designed the shop around what I am passionate about; friends, family, sewing and the memory of my mother. Stop by have a fresh baked cookie, a cup of coffee and a chat.
